2014 Sectional Information

North Chicago Sectional will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Glenbrook South High School. 4000 W. Lake Ave. Glenview, IL 60026.

Weigh-ins will be on Friday Night, March 7, 2014 at Glenbrook South High School, 4000 W. Lake Ave. Glenview, IL 60026 and at Glenbard North High School, 900 Kuhn Rd. Carol Stream, IL 60189 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM and Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Glenbrook South High School from 6:00AM to 7:00AM

IMPORTANT REMINDERS OF IKWF RULES: Wrestlers are required to wear a competition singlet upon entering the weigh-in area.Wrestlers are not allowed to leave the weigh-in area until weight has been made or not made. Weigh-in sites are not to be used for weight reduction. CHECK SCALES ARE A COURTESY.

Regional and Sectional host may or may not provide. All coaches must display their coach’s card on the upper part of their body between the neck and belt.

Videotaping from the wrestling area and coach’s corner area is prohibited. (Coaches will not be allowed to video their kids match from the corner with any video devises, i.e.: ipads, phones, etc.) 15q

Head Coaches are responsible for their team and parents.

Penalties will be in accordance with the NFHS rule.

Wrestling to start at 9:00AM

Sectional fee is $15.00 per wrestler to be paid at the sectional meeting (checks to be made out to Shamrock WC or cash). As in the past to help the host team with the cost of officials a donation of $1.00 per wrestler would be appreciated.

ADMISSION: ADULTS $5.00 STUDENTS $3.00 with school ID CHILDREN $1.00
